Basketball Recap: Calvary Day Has No Trouble Against Beach

Calvary Day was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Beach on Tuesday. The Calvary Day Cavaliers put the hurt on the Beach Bulldogs with a sharp 64-42 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Cavaliers as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

When it comes to explaining why Beach lost, don't look at Mariah Reid. Despite the final result, she posted 32 points. The contest was Reid's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Heaven Walker, who earned six points.

The victory got Calvary Day back to even at 7-7. As for Beach, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Day will take on Johnson at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Beach, they will face off against Savannah Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
