Basketball Recap: Monroe Catholic Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Palmer

On Thursday, Monroe Catholic faced Palmer in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Monroe Catholic Rams took a 67-63 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Palmer Moose. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Moose apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2021.

Monroe Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Palmer, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
