 The Community Christian Cyclones will head out on the road to  take on  the New Life Christian Academy Warriors at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Community Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.5  runs per game this season.
 On Monday, Community Christian suffered a  rough 13-6 loss at the hands of New Life Academy. Community Christian has struggled against New Life Academy recently, as their  game on Monday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
  Matthew Jackson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ian Whitley, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base and two  RBI.
 Meanwhile, New Life Christian Academy narrowly escaped with a  win as the  team sidled past Ahoskie Christian  6-5. The  victory was just what New Life Christian Academy needed coming off of  a  14-0 defeat in their prior  match.
  Cameron Parker made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out 11 batters over  seven innings while giving up  five earned runs off   six  hits. Parker was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Clayton Hedgepeth and  Nathan Strickland did most of the damage at the plate:  Hedgepeth  scored three  runs and  stole three bases while going 2-for-4, while  Strickland  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases and  an  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Joshua Valencia, who  went 2-for-5 with a  stolen base, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 Community Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for New Life Christian Academy,  the  win  got them back to even at 3-3.
 The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Community Christian has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 6.2  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like New Life Christian Academy struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 10.8  per game. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Community Christian came up short against New Life Christian Academy when the teams last played  back in April of 2023, falling  12-7. Can Community Christian avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
