Football Recap: Everglades' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Everglades had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured an 18-14 W against the Chaminade-Madonna Lions.

Everglades' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leilah Lewin, who threw for 160 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 34 yards and one score. That's the most rushing yards Lewin has posted since back in March. 80 of Lewin's passing yards were hauled in by Amber Beautelus, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Everglades' victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Chaminade-Madonna, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-4.

As of now, neither Everglades nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
