Rehoboth Christian dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Montezuma-Cortez Panthers, falling 58-34. The matchup marked the Lynx's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Montezuma-Cortez, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0. Fans of they have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Trey Hall had a dynamite game, shooting 57% from the field to rack up 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ah-Dae Lang, who posted 17 points and five steals.

Rehoboth Christian will take on Grants in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Lynx will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. Montezuma-Cortez and Grand Junction Central will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
