Baseball Recap: Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Takes a Loss

Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton lost against Goodhue back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Wildcats, falling 12-3. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peyton O'Brien was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. That run was his first of the season.

Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Goodhue, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton will venture away from home to face off against Kenyon-Wanamingo at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Goodhue, they will host Lyle/Pacelli at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Athletics' pitching crew has only allowed 1.2 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
