Baseball Recap: Wellington School Comes Up Short

If Wellington School was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Millersport on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jaguars took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Berne Union Rockets on Saturday. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Rockets recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Wellington School's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Berne Union, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Wellington School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Berne Union, they are taking a road trip to take on Lancaster at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
