Silver's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Deming Wildcats 1-0. The victory continues a trend for Silver in their matchups with Deming: they've now won three in a row.

Silver's one-goal win came courtesy of Kallie Theobald, who's now up to five this season.

The win got Silver back to even at 7-7. As for Deming, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-6-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Silver will face off against rival Chaparral at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Deming is set to take on their familiar foe Santa Teresa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
