Basketball Recap: Isaac Massey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead ALA - Gilbert North over Thunderridge

ALA - Gilbert North's tournament run continued when they took on ThunderRidge on Thursday. The ALA - Gilbert North Eagles took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the ThunderRidge Grizzlies.

ALA - Gilbert North lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Isaac Massey, who posted nine points and eight rebounds. Those eight rebounds gave Massey a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kyle Speed, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

ALA - Gilbert North's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for ThunderRidge, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

ALA - Gilbert North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-58 win against Gilbert Christian on the 20th. As for ThunderRidge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-54 victory against Olympia on the 20th.
