Volleyball Game Preview: Northside Eagles vs. Veterans Warhawks

Northside hasn't had much luck against Veterans recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the Warhawks at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Northside came up short against Houston County and fell 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Veterans didn't have quite enough to beat Lee County on Saturday and fell 2-1.

The 2-1 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-23, 23-25, 15-12.

Veterans' loss dropped their record down to 22-14. As for Northside, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.

Northside couldn't quite get it done against Veterans in their previous matchup on Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
