Soccer Recap: Taylorsville Comes Up Short

Taylorsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Granger Lancers. Taylorsville were not able to make up for their defeat to Granger from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Taylorsville's goal came courtesy of Mayah Williams, who's now up to three this season.

Taylorsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Granger, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Taylorsville has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Hillcrest on the 21st. As for Granger, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-2 victory against Cyprus on the 21st.
