Basketball Recap: Scott Charter Comes Up Short

Scott Charter lost against Brinkley back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Scott Charter were beaten by the Brinkley Tigers 81-42. While losing is never fun, Scott Charter can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 257th, while Brinkley is ranked 81st).

Scott Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Brinkley, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott Charter has already played their next matchup (against Arkansas School for the Deaf), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Brinkley Tigers challenge the England Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
