Basketball Recap: Okemah's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Okemah had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They came out on top against the Sallisaw Black Diamonds by a score of 57-48.

Okemah's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4. As for Sallisaw, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Okemah won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Holdenville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Okemah has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three games. As for Sallisaw, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Checotah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sallisaw is facing Checotah at the right time seeing as Checotah is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
