Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Seton Catholic Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Drew Erickson, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five steals. Erickson has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Allan Eagles, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds.

Chenango Forks suffered their biggest defeat since December 8, 2023 on Wednesday. They took a serious blow against Charles O. Dickerson, falling 66-39.

Despite their defeat, Chenango Forks saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Walker Paske, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Stephen Samsel, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.

Seton Catholic Central pushed their record up to 11-2 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Chenango Forks, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Everything came up roses for Seton Catholic Central against Chenango Forks when the teams last played on January 9th as the squad secured a 84-26 victory. With Seton Catholic Central ahead 44-18 at the half, the match was all but over already.
