Basketball Recap: Canarsie Wins Going Away Against Erasmus Hall

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Thomas Jefferson Campus, Canarsie was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Erasmus Hall Dutchmen as the Canarsie Wolfpack made off with a 78-54 win. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Dutchmen are ranked 468th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Canarsie's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Erasmus Hall, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Canarsie will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Brooklyn Collegiate at 3:30 p.m. As for Erasmus Hall, they are taking a road trip to face off against Lincoln at 1:30 p.m. on January 25th.
