Bishop O'Connell had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. Everything went their way against the Flint Hill Huskies as they made off with a 10-2 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by eight runs or more this season.

Bishop O'Connell got a great performance from Kayden Ragsdale as he tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. What's more, Ragsdale posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

At the plate, Bryant James was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Daggu Rana, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Bishop O'Connell kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in four consecutive matchups.

Bishop O'Connell's record now sits at 20-5. As for Flint Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop O'Connell will face off against Our Lady of Good Counsel at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Flint Hill, they will square off against St. Andrew's Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
