Volleyball Recap: Antioch Comes Up Short

Antioch lost against Richmond-Burton back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sequoits took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets. The Sequoits have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Richmond-Burton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josie Franckowiak, who had 11 assists and five digs.

Antioch's loss dropped their record down to 10-22. As for Richmond-Burton, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 25-6.

Antioch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Rockford Christian on the 18th. As for Richmond-Burton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Stevenson on the 18th.
