Lutheran waltzed into their match  on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came out on top against the Palmer Ridge Bears by a score of  3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-0  on October 7th.
 The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 19-25,  25-13.
 Madeline Miller was nothing short of spectacular: she  had 18  digs and nine  assists. Those  18  digs gave  her a new career-high.
 Lutheran  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 11  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least five  aces in seven consecutive  matchups.
 Despite the loss, Palmer Ridge still got an impressive performance from   Ella Roque, who  had 16  digs and two  aces.  Mhari Rintala also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Lutheran's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Palmer Ridge, their defeat was  their third straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 4-15.
 Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Lutheran and Rock Canyon will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another  at 8:00  a.m.  on Friday. As for Palmer Ridge, they will square off against Cherry Creek at 9:45  p.m.  on  the 31st.
