Volleyball Recap: North Forsyth Falls to Parkland in First Game of Season + How To Watch

North Forsyth unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Parkland Mustangs on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 17 in a row.

North Forsyth started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-18, 25-20, 25-18.

The victory made it two in a row for Parkland and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Coming up, North Forsyth will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against R.J. Reynolds at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Parkland, they will head out to square off against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
