Baseball Game Preview: Memphis Business Academy Execs vs. Trezevant Bears

Memphis Business Academy hasn't had much luck against Trezevant recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Execs will head out to challenge the Bears at 5:00 p.m. Memphis Business Academy has given up an average of 12.7 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Memphis Business Academy lost 21-1 to Kingsbury on Monday. The Execs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Trezevant made easy work of Douglass on Wednesday and carried off a 14-3 win. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by nine runs or more this season.

Trezevant got a massive performance out of Jaden Ivey, who scored two runs and stole six bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases Ivey has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Zavion Evans, who scored two runs and stole five bases while going 1-for-2.

Trezevant always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .556 or higher in five consecutive games.

Memphis Business Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Trezevant, their record now sits at 5-6-1.

Memphis Business Academy suffered a grim 19-6 defeat to Trezevant when the teams last played back in March. Can the Execs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
