Pearl River Central will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals on Saturday, then bounced right back against Hattiesburg on Tuesday. Everything went Pearl River Central's way against Hattiesburg as Pearl River Central made off with a 6-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Terry's offense. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting West Jones an easy 8-0 victory. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.

Pearl River Central now has a winning record of 6-5-1. As for Terry, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
