Baseball Recap: Clayton Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pitman, Clayton was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Wildwood Warriors get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. For the Clippers, this counts as revenge for the 5-4 victory the Warriors walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Clayton's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Landon Tice, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Tice also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Clayton now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wildwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clayton will challenge Pleasantville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wildwood, they will square off against Glassboro at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
