Basketball Recap: Thrasher Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Thrasher won against Blue Mountain last Tuesday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Thrasher Rebels came out on top against the Falkner Eagles by a score of 61-52. Winning may never get old, but the Rebels sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Despite the loss, Falkner still got an impressive performance from Elijah Mauney, who went 10 for 21 on his way to 29 points and seven rebounds. That was a full 55.8% of Falkner's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Chris Nunley was another key player, putting up 12 points along with seven assists and six boards.

Thrasher's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Falkner, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Thrasher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Falkner, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 61-52 victory against East Union on the 31st.
