Volleyball Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Calvary Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Tri-City Tornadoes.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21.

Tri-City was led to victory by Rayleigh Gilbraith and Gentrie Earles. Gilbraith had nine digs, while Earles had nine assists and three digs. That's the most digs Earles has posted over her last two contests.

Calvary Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Tri-City, the victory snapped their losing streak at 13 matches and leaves them with a 2-13 record.

Calvary Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Blue Ridge on the 18th. As for Tri-City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Bunker Hill on the 18th.
