Basketball Recap: Saranac Takes a Loss

Saranac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 55-40 fall against the Bath Fighting Bees. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Fighting Bees this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-38 two weeks ago.

Saranac's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Bath, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-11 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saranac will host Fowler at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fowler knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Saranac likes a good challenge. As for Bath, they will take on Laingsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
