Bryan Station proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Madison Central Indians 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on October 2nd.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Bryan Station got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-23, 22-25, 25-17.

Cameron Owens paced Bryan Station's offense, picking up 21 kills. Owens got some help from Nyalie Locke and her 33 assists. Owens was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bryan Station's victory bumped their record up to 16-17. As for Madison Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bryan Station and Madison Central will both be playing Corbin the next time they take the court. The Defenders will host the Redhounds at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
