It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bozeman had no problem doing just that on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the Marianna Bulldogs 5-4. The Bucks haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Bozeman's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lane Hathaway, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Bozeman's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Marianna, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.

Bozeman will take on Pensacola Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bucks are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Marianna does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
