Soccer Game Preview: Steele vs. Alexander

The Steele Knights will face off against the Alexander Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Steele's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Last Friday, neither Steele nor Johnson could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Brooklynn Cisek was the only thing that stood between Steele and a shutout considering she scored both of Steele's goals, bringing her season total up to 11 goals.

Meanwhile, Alexander fell victim to Edinburg North and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Alexander now has a losing record of 7-8. With that draw, Steele's record moves to 10-5-4.
