Basketball Game Preview: Palmer Moose vs. West Valley Wolf Pack

Palmer is 1-9 against West Valley since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Palmer Moose will be playing at home against the West Valley Wolf Pack at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Palmer is headed into the game having just posted their biggest victory since January 16th on Tuesday. They blew past Mountain City Christian Academy 59-38. The win continues a trend for the Moose in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, West Valley waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their match with ease, bagging a 75-28 victory over the Patriots. Given the Wolf Pack's advantage in MaxPreps' Alaska basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Patriots are ranked 88th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Palmer's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for West Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
