Volleyball Recap: Yosemite Gets the Win + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Immanuel, Yosemite was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hoover Patriots. That's more bragging rights for the Badgers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Yosemite had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-8.

Despite the loss, Hoover had strong showings from Madison Vang, who had 22 digs and four assists, and Alejandra Espino, who had 12 digs and ten assists.

Yosemite's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Hoover, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, Yosemite will be playing at home against Redwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hoover, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Firebaugh at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
