Haven has gone 8-2 against Hoisington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats duke it out with the Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. Haven has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Haven was handed a heart-breaking three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Smoky Valley on Friday. Haven took their contest with ease, bagging a 46-16 victory over Smoky Valley. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Hoisington had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Ellinwood and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Hoisington took a hard 52-34 fall against Ellinwood. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Haven will have to keep a close watch on Kelsi Maier and Brynn Tarlton, a pair of players who had a big impact on Hoisington's prior game. Maier went 5 of 11 to rack up 10 points and eight rebounds, while Tarlton posted a point along with six assists and five steals. Tarlton has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Laeya Beck also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Hoisington's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Haven, their win bumped their record up to 10-4-1.

Haven beat Hoisington 55-43 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Haven repeat their success, or does Hoisington have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
