Basketball Recap: Frederica Academy Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Frederica Academy couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Lakeview Academy Lions by a score of 47-44 on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Frederica Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th in Georgia, while Lakeview Academy is ranked 31st in Georgia).

Frederica Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 19-3. As for Lakeview Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.
