Baseball Game Preview: MICDS Rams vs. Lutheran North Crusaders

For the second straight game, MICDS will face off against Lutheran North. The Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in MICDS' favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Lutheran North has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

MICDS blew Lutheran North out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Lutheran North got their revenge. The Rams fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 5-3.

MICDS saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was LJ Triplett, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Triplett is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Ford Werner also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

MICDS' loss dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Lutheran North, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
