Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milford). They had just enough and edged the Bryce Valley Mustangs out 71-69. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Milford's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sadler Barnes, who went 8 of 14 en route to 25 points along with eight assists and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Barnes has scored at least a third of Milford's points. Colton Barnes was another key player, going 8 for 12 on his way to 19 points.

Milford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Bryce Valley still got an impressive performance from Luke Andrus, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zaren Roberts, who went 5 of 7 on his way to 13 points.

The win (which was Milford's third in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Bryce Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4.

Milford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-51 victory against Tabiona on the 13th. Bryce Valley has also already played their next game, a 74-28 win against Monument Valley on the 13th.
