Recap: Pinnacle Panthers vs. Escalante Moquis
The Pinnacle Panthers lost against the Escalante Moquis back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The match between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Pinnacle falling 43-24. They have struggled against Escalante recently, as their game on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Pinnacle still got an impressive performance from Jostyn McLean, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. McLean scored a full 62.5% of Pinnacle's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydence Romero, who scored 2 points along with 9 steals.
Pinnacle has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Escalante, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-1.
Pinnacle will head out on the road to face off against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Escalante is on the road again on December 16th and play against Grand County at 3:00 p.m. on December 16th.
