Football Game Preview: Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes vs. Longmeadow Lancers

The Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes will head out to square off against the Longmeadow Lancers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Thursday, Amherst-Pelham Regional came up short against West Springfield and fell 34-22. The Hurricanes have struggled against the Terriers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Longmeadow). They enjoyed a cozy 48-34 win over Agawam on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lancers considering their six-point performance the contest before.

Amherst-Pelham Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Longmeadow, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-4.
