Volleyball Recap: Olympia Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Bethel on Wednesday, Olympia came back down to earth. The Bears fell 3-1 to the Emerald Ridge Jaguars on Monday. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Olympia started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

Olympia's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-3. As for Emerald Ridge, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Olympia has already played their next matchup (against Bonney Lake), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Emerald Ridge also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Bethel.
