Basketball Recap: Hartland Comes Up Short

If Hartland was riding high fresh off their 52-30 takedown of Fenton last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hartland Eagles were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 50-49 to the Brighton Bulldogs. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Hartland's defeat dropped their record down to 11-13. As for Brighton, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Hartland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brighton, they will welcome Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
