A Season-Best Performance from Zach Cwalinski Leads Valley View over Delaware Valley

Zach Cwalinski produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Valley View to the win on Friday. Cwalinski rushed for 165 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 107 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.

The victory (which was Valley View's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1. Cwalinski and Valley View will host Wyoming Valley West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Delaware Valley was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Michael Iuzzolino did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Iuzzolino as he made 17 total tackles.

The loss snapped Delaware Valley's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. They and North Pocono are set to duel on Friday.

Nick Bradley Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Thursday, Abington Heights got the W thanks in part to Nick Bradley playing the best football he has all season. Bradley rushed for 31 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns. Abington Heights is 2-1 when Bradley posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-3 otherwise.

The victory got Abington Heights back to even at 4-4. Bradley and Abington Heights will head out to take on Scranton on Friday.

Valley View Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Nick Kucharski

Valley View picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Nick Kucharski. Kucharski was dynamite, rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown, while also picking up 40 receiving yards. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making eight total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.

This season, Kucharski has averaged 23.2 receiving yards per game.
