Baseball Recap: Plymouth's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Plymouth had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Novi by a score of 7-3 on Monday. For Plymouth, this counts as revenge for the 7-0 win Novi walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Brady Tegen tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Nick Riebschleger, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Pheiffer, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Plymouth's victory bumped their record up to 3-14. As for Novi, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-7.

Plymouth will have a chance to go back-to-back against Novi: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
