Oak Grove had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Mount Tabor Spartans.
 Oak Grove never let Mount Tabor on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17,  25-22.
 Leading Oak Grove to victory were  Chloe Smith and  Brynn Tippens.  Smith  had 15  digs and three  aces, while  Tippens  had four  digs and two  aces. Those  two  aces gave  Tippens a new career-high.  Hailey Ray also deserves some recognition as  she  posted her first  assist of the season.
Oak Grove's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Mount Tabor, their  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-10.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Oak Grove is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Glenn  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mount Tabor will  square off against  rival Atkins  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
