Waltrip had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 90-62 win over the Sharpstown Apollos. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Rams' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 719th, while the Apollos are ranked 1456th).

Waltrip's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Sharpstown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

Coincidentally, Waltrip and Sharpstown will both be playing Galena Park the next time they take the court. The Rams will head out to face the Yellowjackets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Apollos will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on the 30th.
