Northwest Christian barely beat ALA - Ironwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Crusaders were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Warriors on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Northwest Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for ALA - Ironwood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Northwest Christian has already played their next matchup, an 8-6 loss against Gilbert Christian on the 14th. As for ALA - Ironwood, they will challenge San Tan Foothills at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
