Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks vs. Baylor Red Raiders

The Hamilton Heights Christian Academy Hawks will head out to take on the Baylor Red Raiders on Friday. Hamilton Heights Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Baylor likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Hamilton Heights Christian Academy strolled past Chattanooga Prep with points to spare, taking the game 70-53.

Hamilton Heights Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Christopheur Munyika out in front who went 7 of 9 on his way to 18 points. Munyika's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Bj Bradford was another key player, going 7 for 15 en route to 17 points.

Meanwhile, Baylor ended up a good deal behind Webb on Tuesday and lost 60-44. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Spartans are ranked second).

Hamilton Heights Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Baylor, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Hamilton Heights Christian Academy might still be hurting after the 81-56 defeat they got from Baylor in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hamilton Heights Christian Academy was down 44-23.
