Volleyball Recap: Butler County Comes Up Short

Butler County was the 2-0 winner over Todd County Central when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rebels on Saturday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13.

Todd County Central was led to victory by Shelby Holderman and Chloe Collins. Holderman had 14 assists and three digs, while Collins had seven digs and two aces. That's the most aces Collins has posted since back in October of 2024.

Butler County has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6-1 record this season. As for Todd County Central, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Butler County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Southwestern on the 6th. As for Todd County Central, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Clinton County on the 6th.
