Basketball Recap: Rootstown Takes a Loss

Rootstown lost against Aquinas back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rootstown Rovers lost to the Aquinas Knights at home by a 61-44 margin.

Rootstown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Aquinas, they moved to 1-2 with that win, which also ended their 12-game losing streak.

Rootstown will be home for the holidays to greet Fairless at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Aquinas, they will head out on the road to square off against Steubenville at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Steubenville's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
