Softball Recap: Wolfson Takes Down Stanton in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Wolfson had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Stanton Blue Devils get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Tuesday. The Wolfpack might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by ten runs or more this season.

Wolfson let Hannah Roberts and Dylan Hetrick run wild. Roberts went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple, while Hetrick went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Roberts has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Sarah Wisniewski, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

Wolfson's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Stanton, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-5 record.

As of now, neither Wolfson nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
