 Metro Tech won against Sierra Linda  last Tuesday with eight  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Wednesday. The Metro Tech Knights walked away with  an   8-3  victory over the Maryvale Panthers. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Metro Tech.
 Metro Tech saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cyless Medina, who  scored a  run while going 3-for-4.
 On Maryvale's side,  Angel Morales was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs and  stealing five bases while going 3-for-4.
 Metro Tech pushed their record up to 7-10 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. As for Maryvale, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record  this season.
 Metro Tech will  face off against Fairfax at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Fairfax is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.5  runs per game  this season. As for Maryvale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Browne at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. Maryvale has given up an average of 11.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
