Their goal came courtesy of Luke Desmond, which was the first he's scored this season.

Cape Fear Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1-1. As for Mount Tabor, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cape Fear Academy will host Greenfield at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Tabor, they will be playing at home against Northwest Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on the 25th.
