Basketball Recap: Christ the King Skates Past Pine Lake Prep with Ease

Christ the King waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their game with ease, bagging a 65-8 victory over the Pine Lake Prep Pride. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-5.

Christ the King found their leader in freshman Anna Haynes, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Haynes is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Rosie Gorman, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.

Despite the loss, Pine Lake Prep saw an underclassman step up: freshman Madelyn Beaver had eight points.

Bradford Prep has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
